12V Deep Cycle Solar Battery
The 12V deep cycle solar battery is HHS Energy's deep cycle product for solar storage, off-grid systems, RV house power and marine house banks. It is a 12V lithium iron phosphate battery built for repeated deep discharge and recharge, which is the defining requirement of a deep cycle battery: unlike a starting battery that delivers short bursts, this battery is designed to be discharged deeply day after day and to keep its capacity over many cycles. The stated cycle life is more than 2,000 cycles.
This page covers two source listings that share one identical specification body; they are presented here as a single deep cycle product page, not as two separate models. The stated specification is: 12V, 100Ah, dimensions made to order, weight of about 10 kg, maximum discharge of 20 to 30A, cycle life of more than 2,000 cycles, warranty of 12 months, and 100 percent inspection stated. Certificate names stated are CE, UN38.3, RoHS and MSDS; certificates are available upon request and certificate numbers are not published.

Features
Deep cycle performance is what separates this battery from the 26650-cell 12V pack on this site. The deep cycle battery's stated cycle life of more than 2,000 cycles is roughly double the 26650 pack's stated 500 to 1,000 cycles, which reflects its construction for repeated deep discharge. Its maximum discharge of 20 to 30A is lower than the 26650 pack's 50A, so the choice between the two depends on the application: sustained cycling favors this battery, while higher current draw favors the 26650 pack. The deep cycle battery also carries RoHS in its stated certificate names, which the 26650 pack does not list.
For solar installations, the relevant figures are the 12V system voltage, the 100Ah capacity, the 20 to 30A discharge limit and the more than 2,000-cycle life. System designers should size the battery bank from the 100Ah specification figure, not from title capacities that appear on the source listings. Dimensions are made to order and are confirmed with the quote.
Ordering
Lead time is 3 to 5 days. Minimum order quantity is not stated on the source listings and is confirmed when you inquire.
Notes on This Specification
Capacity is stated as 100Ah only. The source listing titles mention 150Ah, 200Ah and 300Ah alongside 100Ah, but the specification body states 100Ah, and this site does not present title capacities as verified specifications. The two source listings sharing this specification body are presented as one product page.

Sizing a 12V Deep Cycle Bank
Sizing a deep cycle bank starts with daily energy use. Add up the loads the battery must power in a day, in watt-hours, and divide by the system voltage of 12V to get the amp-hours needed. Then allow a margin: a bank sized exactly to the daily load will discharge deeply every day, while a bank sized with margin will discharge more shallowly and last longer in practice. The stated capacity of this battery is 100Ah, so a bank of two units in parallel provides 200Ah at 12V, and a bank of four provides 400Ah. Parallel connections keep the voltage at 12V while adding capacity; series connections raise voltage and are not used when the system is 12V.
Charging a deep cycle bank needs a charger or solar charge controller matched to lithium iron phosphate charging, with the correct voltage profile and a current within the battery's limits. The stated maximum discharge of 20 to 30A sets the continuous load the battery can serve; the inverter and loads should be checked against that figure. Temperature matters as well: charging is stated from 0°C upward, so a bank in an unheated space in winter needs a charging plan that respects that limit. Dimensions are made to order, so the bank layout should be confirmed with the quote.
