Lithium Polymer Battery Pack
A lithium polymer battery pack is a finished unit built from polymer cells with a protection circuit module and, where specified, a battery management system. HHS Energy's polymer packs follow the same custom logic as its polymer cells: voltage, capacity, size and shape are set by the device, and the pack is assembled around the cells that fit. The company's stated custom range covers voltages from 3.7V upward and a wide capacity range, with battery management systems from 10A to 100A and above.
The building blocks for a polymer pack are the cells described on the LiPo pages: small cells from 7 mAh upward, including ultra-thin, mini, curved and round shapes. A pack combines cells in series and parallel to reach the required voltage and capacity, adds a protection board, and can add a charge display, USB charging, communication and balancing functions. Cells can be supplied with leads or connectors to match the device.
